This weekend we had to create basic graphic overlays for our wireframes to get a general idea of what they could look like. Like I've mentioned in my previous posts, I am interesting in taking pop art/comic art style graphics and applying them to my site. I want to do it in a way that it is present, but not overbearing. Here are my ideas for the main pages of the desktop and mobile sites:

So far, I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, however I also know I want some sort of subtle background texture. I wasn't sure which, as I am torn between a few ideas. I will ask some other people what they think would be best so as to avoid the site from being too busy.
